XIGON OC & MORE: The Hidden Gem for Vietnamese Delicacies in Houston

Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and fun to eat. The snail dish, in particular, was easy to eat. As someone who doesn’t usually like snails, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them here. We ordered Miến xào cua (glass noodles with crab), Mì Gói Xào Rau Muống Ốc Xà Cừ (instant noodles stir-fried with water spinach and large sea snails), Má Heo Nướng Kiểu Thái & Xôi (Thai-style grilled pork jowl with sticky rice), and Ốc Hương Sốt Trứng Muối (sweet snails in salted egg yolk sauce).

First time at the restaurant. I came with my family . We met Van, the chef, she was awesome. She came to our table and talked about the restaurant and the food. We practically ordered everything from the menu. The food was SUPERLATIVE. We ate almost everything since we took some to go since we were full . Come early since the place gets packed really quick especially during dinner time. Definitely will be back to enjoy the food and be with family . Very satisfied customer.

The glass noodles with crab is amazing! They removed the shell of the pincers so it was easy to be enjoyed. Nice!

It's been a while since I found a Vietnamese restaurant that serves such delicious snails. The dishes are beautifully decorated and meticulously presented, with very flavorful sauces. The space is small, but thanks to the design, they managed to fit many tables. I'll definitely be back to try more delicious dishes.

Lemongrass clam, delicious, perfectly cooked and oh so flavorful. Water spinach green papaya Thai salad has plenty of spice, lemongrass and galanga. Snails in coconut broth, crab fried rice cooked perfectly too. If you are a seafood fan, this is a must try. I came back 2 days later with more friends.

Yes yes yes! A new Oc place! We had 6 people in our party and were seated in a booth. The people working there were so kind and worked really fast to get us our food. My favorite dishes were the Shrimp skewers, the squid dish with lime and tiny green eggplants, the clams in the thai broth and the fried rice dish. The squid was perfectly cooked and not hard. The shrimp was well seasoned and tasted so good! I recommend sharing everything so you can try many items. The prices were reasonable considering everything is mostly seafood. We spent $240(with the tax and tip) on about 12 dishes and 3 drinks. We left so full and happy we tried it out! Can't wait to go back!
